Karen Harrison has been in the landscape and gardening industry for 9 years. She started out as a contractor working long arduous hours for little pay. But she made a name for herself with her clients as being honest, helpful and knowledgeable.

She continued her education by stepping out of the contracting arena and continuing with a company with an outstanding reputation, Gardeners Guild. Through them she gained knowledge of IPM requirements and needs, professional client relations and gained a team of dedicated workers that backed her up both professionally and nonprofessionally. She worked for 5 years for Gardeners Guild before deciding she wanted to branch out on her own and move back to her home state of Southern Maryland.

Under Gardeners Guild, Karen has taken on such clients as The Embassy Suites of Marin County, The Convention Center of San Francisco, Ghiradelli Square and The Bank of America Building in San Francisco both interior and exterior. The managers of all have nothing but good things to say of her and regretted her leaving to pursue her own business interested and ideas with the formation of SnapGardeners.
